Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD)
The Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) is an intergovernmental organization established on June 2002, to address issues affecting Asia and promote cooperation between Asian countries. The ACD’s key principle is to find common strengths to improve interdependence and build Asia’s voice by increasing diversity and resources. The organization has developed into two dimensions: dialogue and projects, which both aim to unify countries through constructive discussions and proposal development. Currently, the ACD committee consists of 34 countries, who are all dedicated in advancing their debates regarding the issues that Asia faces today in order to move positively towards the peace and security of all Asian countries.

Letter from the Chair
Dear Esteemed Delegates:
Hope everyone is excited as I am as we approach JHUMUNC XXIII! Welcome to the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Committee! My name is Isabelle Tseng and I will be serving as your chair this year.
I am a senior studying Molecular & Cellular Biology at Johns Hopkins. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area of the sunny California. Outside of JHUMUNC, I am involved in JHU’s Pre-dental Society, Students’ United for America’s Toothfairy (SUAT), Hop Help Tutoring, JHU Splash, and research in Bloomberg’s Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department. During my spare time, I enjoy taking photos and doodling in my sketchbook!
This is my second year at JHUMUNC. I previously served as a dais member of UNEP. I was introduced to MUN during my freshman year of high school and absolutely loved it since! I hope to create a memorable learning experience for delegates as you all discuss the pressing issues currently happening in Asia. I encourage you all to familiarize yourselves with the topics and consider your country’s position as you move along your papers.
I am extremely excited to hear your ideas and wish you all best of luck with the process. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. My dais members and I cannot wait to meet you all soon!
Chair, Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD)
