Commission on the Status of Women (CSW)
The Commission on Status of Women was established in 1946 as a commission of the Economic and Social Council to address political, economic, civil, social and educational rights of women. Its goal is to promote the empowerment and gender equality of women across the globe. The work this commission does is far-reaching and increasingly prevalent. The topics that will be addressed at this committee session are significant and impact a large proportion of women worldwide. This committee will work towards finding solutions and providing aid for women to achieve equality and safety in various aspects of their lives.
