International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is focused on international cooperation in the nuclear field. IAEA works with delegations and partners worldwide to promote a secure and peaceful use of nuclear technologies by assisting research, development, and application of atomic energy in the international community via the UN’s sustainable development goals. It is the responsibility of the IAEA to establish and administer safeguards designed to ensure that atomic energy use in the world is not used for malicious or military purposes, but is instead used for the betterment of society. This committee will work towards finding resolutions to continue the safe application of atomic energy equitably throughout the world.
